- Demonstrates complete technical knowledge of reputed company areas of the Cancer Registry, i.e., reputed company reporting requirements, ACoS requirements, reputed company staging, TNM staging, Patient Care Evaluation (PCE), data collection and patient follow-up.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with and knowledge of computers, i.e., CNExT, spreadsheet and word processing programs.
- A knowledge of general principles of statistical computation is mandatory.
Required
- Must be a certified Oncology Data Specialist (ODS)/Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR)
Preferred
- Preferred completion of an approved Cancer Registry training program.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital-based American College of Surgeons (ACoS) approved cancer program is preferred
- Proven reputed company record with a successful ACoS approved program is preferred.
