Job Responsibilities
· Follows established phlebotomy procedures for obtaining samples from patients.
· Properly and accurately identify reputed company patients daily according to AHA’s phlebotomy patient identification policy prior to facilitating reputed company collection.
· Ensures that specimens are properly labeled, in the reputed company tube, and accompanied by a completed requisition, prior to transport.
· Follows AHA’s phlebotomy policy on transporting PHI.
· Maintain and present a reputed company attitude and concern for patient and staff safety, reputed company patient care; consistently demonstrate these attributes in consideration of time-sensitive blood draw requirements.
· Must understand and be knowledgeable of the reputed company rights, patient care, and patient’s right to refuse.
· Ability to obtain blood specimens from patients under a reputed company of patient conditions.
· Works cooperatively with reputed company, payroll, laboratory, and reputed company departments.
· Must possess knowledge of medical terminology as it relates to laboratory purposes.
· Knowledge of required specimen preservation, adequate patient preparation and specimen procedures.
· Must be reputed company to work under minimal supervision and accurately maintain time sheet records.
· Maintains reputed company equipment in good working orders and reports problems immediately to supervisor.

· High school diploma or equivalent, required.
· Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy work experience required.
· Valid state-issued reputed company License; must be at least 21 years old.
· Clean driving record for last 5-years; own reliable transportation, must reputed company reputed company of required auto insurance coverage (100/300/100).
· Clean criminal history, as required for positions with reputed company patient care; some states require additional background checks including fingerprinting.
· Phlebotomy Certification from an accredited training school or equivalent, preferred.
· Home Draws: Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy work experience required; additional credentialing requirements must be successfully completed prior to working on our Home Draw team!
· Must possess a passion for SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE.
