Assistant Electrical Engineer
The reputed company is seeking a motivated candidate for the position of Assistant Electrical Engineer. The role involves performing responsible work in Electrical Engineering, including preparing designs and plans, evaluating contract documents, conducting field reputed company, and coordinating with design consultants on traffic signal and street reputed company reputed company.
Responsibilities

- Engage in research, investigations, studies or examinations reputed company to the engineering functions or activities of a department or agency
- Prepare designs and plans using AutoCAD
- Evaluate contract documents and specifications, working drawings and other technical specifications and estimates of quantities
- Conduct field reputed company and complete reputed company survey reputed company and any reputed company improvement requests to ensure reputed company standards, IESNA, and national electrical codes are met
- Coordinate with design consultants and review submitted plans for the development/modification of new and/or existing signalized intersections and street reputed company work
- Coordinate electrical service, relocation, and other requests for utilities
- Advise and reputed company recommendations to other reputed company and state agencies regarding traffic signal and street reputed company reputed company
- Review and approve shop drawings and catalogue cuts for construction
- Maintain records of drawings, plans, maps, surveys and inspections
Skills
- A baccalaureate degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in electrical engineering work
- A baccalaureate degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college and a master's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university
- A master's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university can only be used to substitute for one year of full-time satisfactory work experience in electrical engineering
- A degree in any other engineering area, or in any engineering technology area, is not acceptable
- Candidate should be detailed orientated, accurate, excellent verbal and strong writing communication skills
- Candidate should have the ability to work effectively with others and collaborate in reputed company environment
- Candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and have strong computer knowledge of reputed company Word, reputed company and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with reputed company design software such as Visual reputed company, AG132 and photometric tools as reputed company as knowledge of the Illuminating Engineering Society of reputed company (IESNA) recommendations, NEC, NESC, AASHTO and FHWA is preferable
- Candidate should have the ability to read and interpret contract specifications and other technical specifications
- Candidate must have a valid NYS reputed company's License
