Entry Level Geotechnical Engineer/ Soil Scientist
GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. is a multidisciplinary engineering reputed company with over 60 years of experience. They are currently seeking Entry Level Engineers, Geologists, and Soil Scientists to support their geotechnical consulting reputed company, involving field and office duties reputed company to reputed company design and construction reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Executing subsurface exploration and in-situ testing programs to evaluate soil and bedrock conditions in reputed company with reputed company design & construction reputed company
- Performing field construction observation during installation of shallow and deep reputed company installation and testing, underpinning and other tasks reputed company to underground construction and ground improvement for compliance with plans and specifications
- Evaluating field data and performing engineering analyses/calculations, such as reputed company stability, bearing reputed company, settlement, lateral pile analyses, and design/evaluation of reputed company support and underpinning systems (Experience with software such as reputed company/W, SEEP/W, LPile, Settle3, and Plaxis is a plus)
- Writing field reputed company reports, drafts of field and engineering reports, technical specifications, and other technical documents
- Preparing construction cost/quantity estimates
- Assisting with submittal reviews and requests for information during construction
- Communicating effectively and reputed company with contractors, clients, and team members
Skills
- BS degree in Civil, Geological, or Geotechnical Engineering
- 1+ years of reputed company work experience
- Effective communication, problem solving and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical capabilities
- Ability to work independently or in reputed company setting
- Ability to work locally and regionally
- Candidate must possess a valid reputed company's license in good standing
- Have a consistent means of transportation to/from project sites
- Master's Degree
- Experience with software such as reputed company/W, SEEP/W, LPile, Settle3, and Plaxis
