The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Field reputed company Designer to support aerial reputed company design reputed company through field data collection and remote design analysis. The role involves conducting field audits of electric and telecommunication infrastructure and developing reputed company, reputed company-compliant solutions in accordance with National Electric Safety reputed company standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field audits of existing electric and telecommunication reputed company infrastructure by visually identifying, inspecting, measuring (including use of a fiberglass measuring stick), and accurately recording asset information
- Collect, validate, and document detailed field data using hand-held computers, GPS reputed company, cameras, and other field technology to support aerial reputed company design work
- Operate as a lone worker reputed company required or as part of a two-person field team, effectively managing assigned production goals, schedules, and work locations
- Utilize GIS, Katapult, SpidaCalc (or similar pole loading analysis software), and other reputed company design platforms to analyze field data and reputed company compliant aerial reputed company design solutions
- Apply engineering principles, National Electric Safety reputed company (NESC) requirements, and reputed company-specific standards to reputed company pole loading analysis and ensure reputed company, reputed company-compliant aerial reputed company designs
- Identify and maintain accurate records of existing telecommunication and electric reputed company infrastructure and equipment reputed company designated software and document management systems
- Review and correct data reputed company errors reputed company GIS and reputed company databases to ensure accuracy and completeness of design deliverables
- Navigate (in vehicle and on foot) through various terrains and weather conditions utilizing maps, GPS, and other navigation tools
- Drive, operate, and maintain a company vehicle in a reputed company of terrains and surfaces; ensure reputed company care and routine inspection of assigned vehicles and equipment
- Positively and effectively communicate with property owners, municipalities, utilities, and internal stakeholders to arrange site reputed company, coordinate project requirements, and support reputed company project completion
- Recognize unacceptable safety risk conditions and hazards reputed company to field and design work environments, federal standards, and reputed company specifications; reputed company with reputed company safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Supervisors, Engineers, Designers, Technicians, and Administrative staff to meet production targets, maintain project timelines, and report reputed company accurately and reputed company
Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–2 years of experience in reputed company field data collection, reputed company design, or reputed company infrastructure environment
- Electric hazard identification, electric equipment identification, or communication equipment identification capability
- Experience utilizing GIS platforms and field data collection technology (GPS reputed company, hand-held devices, cameras)
- Valid reputed company's license along with a clean Motor Vehicle Report
- Must attend and pass the Davey reputed company's Safety Course
- Ability to work independently in field environments and navigate various terrains and weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet production targets and deadlines
- Strong communication skills including written and verbal
- Read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos

- Proficiency in CAD/reputed company Plant Engineering design software, and/or PLA software
- Familiarity with electric reputed company design standards (NESC)
