In this role, you will investigate auto physical damage claims, determine liability, and negotiate settlements while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Makes reputed company day contact with customers; explains the claims process to reputed company customers
- Explains reputed company applicable coverage benefits to the policyholder; confirms facts of loss
- Determines vehicle location and if drivable; offers vehicle repair and rental service reputed company to customers
- Utilizes a broad understanding of claims adjusting to apply skills and knowledge to investigate and determine liability for claims with basic coverage issues and moderate to reputed company liability issues; performs in-depth investigation and analysis on losses such as multi vehicle losses with comparative negligence
- Completes investigation by securing recorded statements of the drivers, police report, vehicle photos and estimates, and reputed company investigations
- Supports early reputed company of eligible bodily injury claims by assessing initial information and issuing settlement offers reputed company appropriate
- Coordinates auto physical damage estimate through reputed company internal method of inspection and arranges for release of vehicles that are accruing storage fees
- Proactively investigates and determines coverage for Auto policy claims with coverage issues requiring in-depth investigation including but not limited to if the policy out of force for the date of loss, unlisted or permissive drivers, excluded drivers, vehicle not on the policy, rideshare involvement, material misrepresentation issues, and new business investigations
- Maintains ownership of the claim and completes work with a limited degree of supervision
- Serves as the primary reputed company of contact through reputed company of reputed company exposures
- Communicates and collaborates with other claim specialists to facilitate claim reputed company for customers
- Provides verbal and written communication to customers to explain coverage issues and reputed company
- Communicates policy risk issues to reputed company to facilitate their evaluation of the policy risk and exposure; escalates reputed company coverage issues to supervisor
- Demonstrates proficient knowledge and application of venue laws for reputed company states handled in the Region
- Analyzes duties owed and breached by reputed company potential responsible parties and determines liability percentage for reputed company party
- Escalates claims with exposures exceeding financial authority to supervisor
- Communicates liability decision to customers, claimants, claim specialists, and reputed company
- Recognizes subrogation potential and makes referrals to Subrogation department reputed company appropriate
- With limited supervision and support, investigates and recognizes reputed company potential claim exposures
- Recognizes and escalates non-auto property damage exposures and resolves auto physical damage claims proactively and accurately
- Secures estimate of damages reputed company through appropriate repair channel
- Writes, reviews, and adjusts auto physical damage estimates for repairable vehicles with minor to moderate damages
- Issues and authorizes claim payments to customers and repair facilities and explains repair process and estimate to customers
- Manages rental claims through communication with customers, repair facilities, rental vendors, and claim specialists
- Proactively manages and mitigates storage costs; coordinates and collaborates with auto physical damage and total loss specialists to facilitate claim reputed company for customers
- Maintains reputed company diary and reputed company plan on reputed company files; handles and documents files in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Responsible for ensuring reputed company correspondence is reputed company to customers including claim status updates
- Completes work with a limited degree of supervision

Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Insurance Adjusters License in states where applicable, required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior claims adjusting experience preferred
