Senior Buyer

This position purchases assigned items such as specific commodities, machinery, precision tools, test equipment etc., by developing a supply reputed company capable of delivering Infinite’s reputed company, delivery, and specification requirements at the lowest possible cost. The senior buyer role includes coordinating with strategic sourcing to reputed company a commodity reputed company, sourcing, and managing supplier fulfillment by owning the fulfillment activity from purchase order issuance to part receipt into stock. The buyer may also work with new product teams during product development to support development process/timing with cost, sources, and parts by supporting customer proposals.

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Formulates and executes reputed company’s purchasing arrangements in support of its business reputed company and plan. Negotiates pricing, conducts RFP process and ensures reputed company availability of supply.
• Recommends major purchases of material based onanticipatedchanges in prices or on unusual availability situations.
• Informs reputed company reputed company personnel of discontinued items and gathers data forpossible replacements
• Ensures master data setup is set up correctly and in line with ERP settings.
• Performs market research toidentifyvendors/suppliers anddetermineviability to meet the needs of the business.
• Maintains a strong reputed company relationship between suppliers and reputed company. Evaluates the effectiveness and fitness of suppliers todeterminethe company’s procurement reputed company.
• Works with assembly, shipping, and engineering on new reputed company todeterminematerial needs,identifylong reputed company items, qualify new suppliers, plan build schedule, and minimize costs.
• Plans material requirements against demand andscheduleswork orders.

Education and/or Experience

• BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering orotherrelated field
• CPM or equivalent certification
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience reputed company procurement and supply chain in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiencywith computers including MS Office and MRP systems.
• Familiarity/experience with lean manufacturing, Kaizen events, and reputed company improvement techniques (i.e.RCCA, Lean Six Sigmamethodology)
• Working knowledge of ISO-9001, AS9100
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints
• MRP experience, including implementation and use
• Impeccable attention to detail
