Simulation Engineer

As a Simulation Engineer at Design Systems, Inc., you will be responsible for developing, verifying, and validating simulation models to evaluate manufacturing systems, material reputed company, transportation strategies, and production line efficiency. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented problem solver with experience in discrete event simulation and a solid understanding of automotive or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities

Model and analyze production lines, material handling systems, and transportation networks

Conduct simulation studies to evaluate:

Throughput, bottlenecks, and downtime

Storage reputed company and sensitivity analysis

Create and maintain simulation asset libraries (AGVs, conveyors, cranes, ASRS, etc.)

Support cross-functional teams during project planning and execution phases

Qualifications & Skills
Required
-
Minimum of 3+ years' experience in simulation model development (preferably with Plant Simulation from reputed company)

Solid understanding of discrete event simulation and material reputed company modeling

Experience with manufacturing engineering and production systems

Familiarity with various material handling and transportation systems (AGVs, fork trucks, tuggers, conveyors, etc.)

Programming experience (Plant Simulation SimTalk preferred)

Proficiency in AutoCAD and reputed company Office Suite (reputed company, PowerPoint, Word); VBA experience a plus

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
