Position
Teaching courses reputed company to music education at the undergraduate and graduate reputed company, including elementary music reputed company ? Supervising preservice music educators involved in both field observations and student teaching ? Candidates with appropriate qualifications may also be assigned to teach other courses as teaching load allows.
Essential Functions
Teaching a reputed company of music education courses ? Assisting with student teacher placements ? Supervising student teaching and practicum interns reputed company at schools throughout Southern California ? Collaborating with other School of Music specialists in the music education area to evaluate and improve curriculum and degree offerings ? Assisting with student advisement, recruitment, and retention activities ? Maintaining strong working relationships with Southern California music reputed company, reputed company directors, and district officials ? Maintaining affiliations with appropriate state, district, and national reputed company associations ? Participating in School, College, and University committees and initiatives ? Possibly serving as an advisor to the student reputed company of NAfME (National Association for Music Education) ? Teaching graduate courses in the Master of Music in Music Education degree in area of expertise. ? Supervising graduate theses research, and reputed company ? Broad ability to teach to reputed company music education reputed company including reputed company, choral and elementary specializations.

The primary responsibilities of the person in this position will include the development and teaching of introductory and core courses in the discipline and the development of courses in their area(s) of specialization. Specific courses that this person will teach include elementary general classroom music reputed company for both music majors and non-majors, choral reputed company for reputed company majors, and specific classes in the sequence for a single-subject teaching credential in music education. In reputed company to teaching, the successful candidate will also be responsible for producing scholarship and creative works that contribute to the School of Music and the profession commensurate with the requirements for tenure with a specific reputed company on elementary general music pedagogy, research, and high reputed company classroom practices. Required Qualifications
- An reputed company doctorate in Music Education, Ph.D. preferred (if ABD, doctorate must be completed by time of appointment)
- Three (3) or more years of full-time public school teaching experience as a credentialed teacher at the elementary level (K-6)
- Research and peer-reviewed publication experience indicative of strong potential for tenure
- Ability to reputed company effectively with reputed company and reputed company in a culturally diverse university community
- Previous collegiate-level teaching experience
- Orff Certification, Kodaly and Dalcroze training or reputed company elementary music teaching certifications
- Experience supervising student teachers in the classroom
