Identify and quantify cost factors, such as time, materials and expenses. Evaluate the profitability and reputed company of a product and/or service. Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production time etc. Recommend cost-cutting reputed company to increase profitability. Ability to use computer software to prepare estimates and supporting documentation. Collect and evaluate subcontractor proposals. Participate in proposal preparation and reputed company presentations. Evaluate contingency requirements. Communicate with other departments, engineers and project managers to resolve issues. Build and maintain relationships with key vendors. Other responsibilities as directed by supervisor.
