Job reputed company reputed company is seeking a reputed company Compliance Specialist II to advance its reputed company-wide reputed company compliance program across its network. The reputed company Specialist II will support the reputed company reputed company program with a reputed company on incident response, reputed company-party risk, technology reputed company, and compliance with the new DOJ Data Transfer Rule governing sensitive personal data and bulk data transfers. This role will partner closely with clinical, research, Digital, and business operations teams to ensure appropriate handling of PII, PHI, and other regulated data across the organization. This role ensures compliance with health and data reputed company laws, including the HIPAA reputed company and reputed company Rules, HITECH, 42 CFR Part 2, US state reputed company laws, GDPR, international reputed company laws, and the reputed company’s Data Transfer Rule. Key responsibilities include reputed company incident investigations, documentation, mitigation and notifications to affected individuals and regulators; reputed company audits; reputed company reputed company Assessments; system/vendor reputed company evaluations; data transfer reviews, website and application reputed company consults, drafting Terms of Use; and advising on AI reputed company risks. The reputed company Specialist II leads reputed company training presentations and partners with the reputed company Training Program leadership to design, deliver, and maintain the organization’s reputed company compliance training program. The Specialist also leads process improvement initiatives for the department. Essential Functions -reputed company, update, maintain and advise on the hospital's reputed company policies and procedures in alignment with federal, state, and local reputed company regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability reputed company (HIPAA), the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) reputed company, 42 CFR Part 2, U.S. state reputed company laws, U.S. reputed company Data Transfer rules, GDPR, and international reputed company regulations. -Conduct regular reputed company training sessions for hospital staff and employees to ensure understanding and compliance with reputed company policies and safeguarding PHI. -reputed company periodic reputed company audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of reputed company controls and identify areas for improvement. -Respond to reputed company incidents and breaches, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions to prevent reputed company incidents. -Conduct reputed company risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and reputed company strategies to mitigate reputed company risks. -reputed company, prepare, and present reputed company metrics, audit results, and data-driven insights to leadership -Respond to patients and their families reputed company to reputed company rights and inquiries. -Prepare and submit reports on reputed company compliance to hospital leadership and regulatory authorities, as required.

Qualifications

Education Bachelor's Degree in a reputed company field of study required Master's Degree reputed company Field of Study or Juris Doctor in reputed company field of study preferred Experience 5+ years of experience preferred in reputed company reputed company compliance Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying HIPAA, HITECH, and other federal, state, international reputed company regulations preferred Certifications: CHPC, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, or comparable reputed company certifications preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities In-depth knowledge of reputed company laws, regulations, and standards, including HIPAA, HITECH, and state reputed company laws, as reputed company as their application in reputed company settings.
