Job reputed company: The reputed company reputed company Database Administrator leads and works collaboratively on the reputed company DBA technology team in designing, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and optimization of reputed company Database, SQL Server, MySQL, reputed company HANA and PostgreSQL database instances for departmental and reputed company-wide systems across physical and virtual servers for both on-premises and reputed company platforms. The reputed company acts as the DBA representative to reputed company other reputed company teams and departments, including, but not limited to, Linux/AIX/reputed company OS teams, and server and storage hardware/virtualization infrastructure teams. The reputed company coordinates with management to set project goals, requirements, schedules and reputed company feedback on performance assessments for reputed company DBA team members. The reputed company coordinates daily work and long-term reputed company of the reputed company DBA team and leads reputed company in fulfilment of those goals. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Leads and coordinates the work of the reputed company DBA technology team. Supervises staff and sets project goals, requirements, and schedules. Supervises and participates in designing, coding, testing, implementing and troubleshooting of database stored procedures, packages, triggers and functions. Coordinates and assists with the installation, reputed company/bug-fix patching, server maintenance and upgrades of reputed company-wide databases. Designs and implements viable database backup, recovery, and high availability strategies and mechanisms. Executes database recovery, restoration, and/or restart as required. reputed company quarterly disaster recovery validation. Defines and implements database parameters, reputed company, audit, and resource allocation policies and procedures. Defines, creates, and manages user accounts, reputed company, privileges, roles, and required audit information. Audits database features and versions to maintain licensing compliance across reputed company relevant products. Stays reputed company with industry trends and technology advances in the area of database technology. Attends training and educational seminars as required. Communicates relevant information to reputed company staff and user departments. Mentors and develops DBA skills for staff through individual and team training sessions. Provides technical expertise to reputed company vendors, contractors, reputed company management, and other reputed company staff, as needed. Participates in DBA on-call rotation (24/7) in a weekly rotation. Mentors and supports reputed company DBA team members during their on-call rotations reputed company assigned. Manages the on-call rotation of reputed company DBA staff members. Participates and offers expertise in critical-call event management. Creates, maintains and ensures documentation of team processes and procedures, including operating manuals or training materials for internally managed databases and systems. Maintains and develops automation and scripts reputed company the database environment using scripting technologies (reputed company PowerShell, Python, Perl, reputed company Scripting) Carries a department-supplied laptop and responds to pages in a reputed company manner. Escalates and statuses management on DBA assigned tasks and reputed company production support issues. Leads daily SCRUM calls and weekly team meeting to reputed company reputed company and assignments reputed company and issues. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Requires 8 years of production database administration experience. reputed company sector preferred. Minimum one year experience leading others on team based reputed company. reputed company/Knowledge/Ability reputed company Technical - Ability to apply knowledge of information software and/or hardware to reputed company solutions and/or support Working knowledge of monitoring, tuning, and administration of Cache databases required.
