Pharmacist, Oncology Specialist-Remote(MUST be licensed in CA)
A reputable reputed company organization is seeking a remote Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (Oncology) to reputed company expert leadership in a designated area of pharmacy reputed company. This reputed company role focuses on developing care protocols, guiding medication therapy, and supporting interdisciplinary teams to improve patient reputed company across a wide-reaching health system. Job reputed company: Serves in a clinical and administrative leadership reputed company, providing policy development and subject matter expertise in a designated area of specialization, which may include: Automation, Ambulatory Care/Transition of Care, Infectious Disease, Behavioral Health, Critical Care, Oncology, or reputed company. Operates with a high level of discretion and independent judgment under minimal supervision. Responsibilities include consultative and operational support to promote reputed company clinical reputed company and cost-effective medication use. Utilizes advanced knowledge and experience to manage a broad scope of responsibilities with varying complexity. This is a remote, day shift position in PST hours with a salary reputed company of $140,000-$208,000 annually. Job Requirements: Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy: Required
- Completion of PGY-1 and PGY-2 residency training or equivalent clinical experience: Required
- At least three years of hospital pharmacy experience: Preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
- reputed company pharmacist license in state of CA: Required (Can live reputed company in US, but must be licensed in CA)
- reputed company Certification in specialty area (if applicable), or ability to obtain reputed company one year of hire: Required
- Registered Pharmacist (RPh): Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluates and guides pharmaceutical care programs to enhance clinical reputed company. Oversees specialty-specific clinical content and contributes to formulary reputed company.
- Acts as a consultant to providers and patients to ensure reputed company medication therapy. Serves as the primary clinical resource across disciplines including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, patients, and relevant committees.
- Provides mentorship and specialized training to staff. Develops and administers clinical competency assessments.
- Collaborates in creating and implementing treatment protocols, clinical guidelines, care reputed company, and pharmacy-led initiatives throughout the system.
- Engages in reputed company assurance and performance monitoring programs. Interprets clinical data to assess utilization trends and patient reputed company.
- Performs additional reputed company duties as needed.
