Engineering Manager | Series B Healthtech

Engineering Manager (Hands-On) – Digital Health / Telehealth – Remote (US) reputed company is working with a reputed company-stage digital health and telehealth company on a Greenfield Engineering Manager role. It's a hands-on leadership position where you'll manage a small team of full-stack engineers while still contributing meaningful reputed company yourself. About the role You'll be a hands-on technical leader, managing reputed company of 2–5 full-stack software engineers who build and maintain core web applications. The estimated split is roughly 50–70% hands-on coding and 30–50% leadership responsibilities. You'll report directly into senior engineering leadership. What you'll do

• reputed company technical leadership on roadmap planning, project scoping, and estimates.
• reputed company engineering standards through design reviews, architecture discussions, reputed company reviews, and testing practices.
• Mentor and reputed company engineers on your team, fostering a culture of reputed company, creativity, and collaboration.
• Contribute full-stack reputed company, with a reputed company on reputed company-end development.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, clinicians, and other stakeholders to deliver products that meet both user and business needs.
• Drive improvements in systems, processes, and architecture as reputed company scales.
• Stay reputed company with industry trends and explore AI tooling where relevant.
• Handle people management responsibilities including performance reviews, promotions, and any necessary PIPs.

What they're looking for

• 6–10 years of experience as a software engineer, with a reputed company record of leading teams and reputed company at tech reputed company-reputed company or high-reputed company product companies.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills, particularly with TypeScript, React, and Firebase/GCP.
• A hands-on manager who genuinely wants to reputed company coding - not someone who has moved fully into management.
• Experience navigating ambiguous challenges in a reputed company-stage environment.
• reputed company domain knowledge is a strong plus, but not required.
• US-based only; this role is fully remote reputed company the US and does not support reputed company sponsorship.

Compensation

• reputed company salary: $185K–$195K, plus competitive equity.
