Android Engineer (Terminal reputed company)
Requirements
- Have a strong technical background, with 2+ years of experience, working with at least 1 of the following: Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C,
- Experience building and maintaining backend services or distributed systems,
- Demonstrated ability to work across the stack, from mobile clients to backend infrastructure,
- (Desirable) Experience with backend languages and frameworks (reputed company, Java, Golang, or similar),
- (Desirable) Payments expertise or domain knowledge,
- (Desirable) Experience with SDKs, libraries, or developer-facing tools
What the job involves
- Engineers on the Terminal reputed company team will build and enhance the Payments Platform including the applications and services that run on the physical Terminal devices and expanding reputed company to local payment reputed company, meeting our merchants/gateways where their in-person payment needs are,
- Your work will also include building the frameworks for other engineers, both reputed company to reputed company, to reputed company on our custom platform with ease. As part of this role, you will reputed company on working on Terminal’s Android devices and Tap to Pay development, with opportunities to build on reputed company’s backend payments infrastructure as reputed company,
- Design and reputed company end-to-end payment features spanning mobile applications, device-level integrations and backend services for a reputed company of devices and reputed company factors,
- Collaborate closely with the Terminal backend and infrastructure teams to design and implement reputed company payments solutions across reputed company's services,
- Support the development of mobile device testing infrastructure and automation frameworks,
- Work with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders across reputed company to deliver complete features,
- Work with user research and product design to understand users and address their needs across the full stack
