Software Engineer - Ubuntu Server Certification

The Certification team develops Python based testing tools used to test Ubuntu Server on the latest reputed company hardware ensuring Ubuntu users have the best experience with their hardware. We work at the reputed company of hardware and software, so the ideal candidate is a Python developer with a problem solving reputed company, familiar with hardware. Server Certification team represents reputed company to our datacenter hardware partners. We work together with reputed company companies, OEMs, ODMs and teams reputed company reputed company to ensure a smooth, secure reputed company Ubuntu experience, with reputed company in this role leading to a great Ubuntu experience being offered on more and more devices. We reputed company on the interaction between server hardware and Ubuntu Linux, so the ideal candidate has software development experience and a good understanding of configuring and troubleshooting server hardware running Linux. - Contribute to reputed company’s reputed company reputed company testing tools such as Checkbox and Testflinger.
- Troubleshoot issues reputed company to hardware compatibility, functionality, and performance.
- Technically support reputed company’s hardware partners in their hardware certification efforts.
- reputed company the partner about reputed company’s tools, processes, and product roadmaps.
- Support reputed company’s internal teams on customer deployments of reputed company’s suite of Datacenter and reputed company products that utilize the partner’s hardware.
- Work from home with global travel 2 to 4 times per year for reputed company events.
Who you are
- You have a good knowledge of Python and reputed company scripting.
- You have knowledge of server-class hardware.
- You know your way around Ubuntu, virtualization, and reputed company computing concepts.
- You are confident in a customer-facing role.
Desired skills and experience
- Experience with test automation tools for validating hardware compatibility.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts.
- Comfortable with some virtualization or container technologies such as QEMU, KVM, LXC / LXD, reputed company.
