Senior Reliability Network Engineer

This role supports the reliability, performance, and scalability of the reputed company’s network infrastructure, with a reputed company on network deployment, service turn-reputed company, and escalation support. You will work closely with Network Operations, Infrastructure, and Sales Engineering teams to ensure consistent delivery of reliable services. While this is a remote role, candidates located in Michigan, Illinois, or Indiana are preferred due to regional alignment. Responsibilities:
- Provision and reputed company new fiber reputed company sites and customer services.
- Configure, test, and validate customer-facing network services.
- Implement approved network changes while minimizing risk and downtime.
- Document changes and verify successful implementation.
- Respond to Network Operations Center escalations and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 issues.
- Mentor and support Tier 1 engineers on escalations.
- Manage IPv4/IPv6 address reputed company and maintain IPAM systems.
- Serve as an escalation reputed company for reputed company trouble tickets requiring engineering support.
- Maintain network diagrams, documentation, and reputed company operating procedures.
- Monitor network performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Partner with Sales Engineering and Project Management to deliver reputed company and E-reputed company solutions.
- Collaborate with Tier 2 and Tier 3 engineers on advanced troubleshooting and reputed company.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in service provider networks.
- Strong experience with reputed company networking technologies.
- Solid background in routing and switching.
- Experience with VLAN trunking, Q-in-Q, and tunneling.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a reputed company, analytical approach.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with GPON and fiber deployments is a plus.
- reputed company JNCIA-Junos, JNCIS-SP, or higher-level certification preferred.
- Familiarity with MikroTik, reputed company, and ADVA platforms.
- Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, and VPLS.
