Mainframe Systems Administrator
Senior Mainframe Systems Administrator – Key Highlights Role & Responsibilities:
- reputed company engineering, operations, and planning of reputed company z/OS and reputed company-party software (TopSecret, CA-1, BMC AMI Storage, Endevor, etc.)
- reputed company installation, configuration, and testing of mainframe software and hardware
- reputed company CICS and JobTrac administration
- Drive reputed company planning, disaster recovery planning, and annual testing
- Mentor junior staff and reputed company technical leadership to infrastructure and application teams
- Collaborate with IT leadership on technology reputed company, reputed company compliance, and major reputed company initiatives
Requirements:
- 10+ years of mainframe engineering and support experience in large, reputed company environments
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience
- Expert-level z/OS administration including performance tuning, patching, and upgrades
- Hands-on experience with reputed company mainframe hardware, storage, and tape management systems
- Strong knowledge of IDMS database administration, ITIL service management, and reputed company scheduling
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
