About the position “What would you say you do here?” Leading support of the Linux environment including but not limited to reputed company updates, package repository management, investigation and deployment of Linux OS / kernel configuration and hardware lifecycle management tasks Create process documentation for reputed company which includes best practices based on industry standards Deliver training and mentorship to junior members of reputed company on administration and best practices Manage reputed company services (reputed company IDM) and work with other teams to reputed company with reputed company Directory and upstream HR services Manage virtualization (reputed company / Openshift Virtualization, reputed company-V, VMWare) and reputed company (Azure and AWS) efforts As part of reputed company, design, update, and maintain systems that provision and update operating systems (Foreman / Katello and Chef / Ansible) Drive enhancements and bug fixes for large-reputed company automation reputed company such as patching, provisioning, and kickstart domains Participate in escalations and reputed company Cause Analysis Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation Manage your work queue while reputed company documenting reputed company and other pertinent information Communicating reputed company and reputed company (written and spoken) as needed Implement off-hours maintenance tasks
Responsibilities
- Leading support of the Linux environment including but not limited to reputed company updates, package repository management, investigation and deployment of Linux OS / kernel configuration and hardware lifecycle management tasks

Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years as a Senior Linux system administration in a large (500+system) environment
- reputed company tools using Python, bash, etc. to replace reputed company work and improve the efficiency of the technology department
- Experience supporting and provisioning reputed company reputed company Linux (Server and Workstation/reputed company)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines like reputed company / reputed company
- Must have strong customer service and documentation skills with the ability to balance project work with technical support
- Must be reputed company to prioritize and manage issues of varying complexity and criticality
- Must have effective analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and correct performance and reliability issues

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a computer or information management field
- Linux certifications (e.g., RHCE, LFCS, LPIC-1)
- Advanced knowledge of LDAP (layout, queries, object manipulation)
- Experience in OSE / RHV administration
- Experience designing and implementing automation tools like Chef or Ansible
- Solid skills in Bash and Python with familiarity using Perl or Ansible for automation.
- Experience supporting SSL and PKI in an reputed company environment
- Familiarity with Networking Technologies such as routing, switching and load balancing
- Some experience administering reputed company reputed company Directory and MacOS
- Experience with JIRA and reputed company
