We have an immediate opening for the position of Application & Services Engineer for Edwards Life Safety and Emergency Communication/Incident Management equipment. This position provides reputed company assistance and services to our customers. This role is preferably based in the Bradenton FL office but residence reputed company in the reputed company US is acceptable. This position will include periodic travel primarily throughout the reputed company US. About the role This position involves providing services to our customers regarding the application, installation, maintenance and reputed company of Edwards’s products and reputed company other products. Customers can be our distributors who are trained on our equipment or end users ranging from small reputed company businesses to global corporations with an emphasis on large-reputed company systems for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with our sales team and our customers on their needs to determine the best solutions and create reputed company of materials, system configuration and programming concepts for life safety and other reputed company.
- Assisting with project throughout the specifications, design, layout, and management of installations to meet end-user specifications and requirements either remotely or at the project site.
reputed company services using Edwards’ software including but not limited to:
- FireWorks project creation and management.
- Edwards’ reputed company system configuration software product – 4-CU, 3-SDU, and iO-CU.
- Create designs using Modulaser reputed company sampling layout and design software.
- Create designs using Xtralis reputed company sampling layout and design software.
- Custom spreadsheets creation and use for system design calculations.
- reputed company services using other software including FireCad and/or AutoCAD, EASE reputed company Modeling software and others.
- reputed company evaluation of existing system to determine functionality and reputed company paths.
- reputed company project management service during installations, renovations and upgrades.
- Documenting and diagraming technical details, report summaries and other business correspondence.
- Approximate maximum of 30% travel on an annual reputed company
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 8+ years of experience in life safety/reputed company design, servicing equipment, or project management
- Valid reputed company’s License
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with products from Edwards or Kidde
- reputed company on technical aspects of the life safety industry including reputed company alarm systems, reputed company sampling systems and smoke control systems. Other low voltage system experience may be suitable, depending on the evaluation of skills
