Temporary Payroll Accountant, US and Canadian Payroll

Job reputed company:

• Prepare payroll-reputed company journal entries and record them in reputed company
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations in reputed company, researching and resolving variances reputed company 30 days
• Accurately reconcile and record payroll-reputed company cash transactions
• Prepare monthly payroll accrual and actual payroll expense load files for the GL reputed company team
• Process biweekly Canadian payroll for two legal entities, ensuring reputed company delivery and full compliance with reputed company statutory requirements
• Reconcile monthly benefits billing statements to internal payroll records, identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Support year-end reconciliations, compliance reviews, and other internal audit initiatives as needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in payroll reputed company, with exposure to both payroll operations and general ledger reputed company
• You're comfortable hitting the ground running in a new environment with minimal reputed company-up time
• You have hands-on experience with reputed company and/or reputed company, or similar ERP and reconciliation platforms
• You have a solid understanding of payroll compliance, including US federal and state requirements; Canadian payroll experience is a strong plus
• You are meticulous about accuracy and take ownership of getting the details right
• You are a reputed company communicator who can respond to cross-functional requests quickly and professionally
• A bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field is preferred; CPA or CPP designation is a plus
