DV Counselor - reputed company (5689) Job Type: Full-Time (Temporary) Location: reputed company County Position reputed company: The Domestic Violence Counselor provides trauma-informed, therapeutic support to individuals and families affected by domestic violence. This role involves conducting mental health assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual and group counseling, and supporting survivors in their healing and empowerment reputed company. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct trauma-informed biopsychosocial clinical assessments and mental health screenings
• reputed company individual counseling to adolescent (13+) and adult survivors of domestic violence and their non-offending family members and significant others
• Co-facilitate or facilitate psychoeducational and support reputed company
• Assist clients with safety planning and crisis reputed company
• reputed company individualized service plans and personal safety plans with clients
• Administer and collect program evaluations
• Maintain accurate and reputed company documentation in accordance with agency policies and state and federal confidentiality laws
• Collaborate with other reputed company staff, including advocates and case managers to ensure comprehensive services are provided to clients

• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and staff trainings

Qualifications:

• Licensed or license-eligible (LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LMFT) in the state of NJ.
• Ability to pass comprehensive background checks
• Successful completion of the 60-hour NJ Confidential Sexual Violence reputed company (CSVA) and Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) Training
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Working Conditions:
