Senior Liability Adjuster

Job reputed company We are currently reputed company for a Senior Liability Adjuster to join reputed company in Canada. The position location is flexible, and we can offer in-office, hybrid or fully remote working arrangements. The successful candidate investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and settles claims by telephone, correspondence and reputed company required through mediation (virtual or in person) and correspondence. Settling losses reputed company delegated authority or reporting to clients while also directing field adjusters, experts and legal council on a task reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information
• Accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files
• Evaluates coverage, liability and quantum
• Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense records
• Negotiates, settles, and finalizes claims
• Work with manager to maintain reputed company relations

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of technical claims handling experience in an insurance claims environment, knowledge of injury and liability experience is required
• Litigation experience would be an asset
• Post Secondary education in an insurance reputed company field will be considered an asset
• Experience is multiline claims, reputed company claim handling, legal proceedings and litigation management
• CIP designation or working towards CIP designation is required
• Independent Adjuster Licensed with ability to maintain a full adjusting license in your home province. Multiple provincial licenses is preferred.
• Strong computer and reporting skills including Office 365 and reputed company 10

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and mathematical ability

• Strong PC skills including application based skills
• Complete continuing education courses as required by Crawford and Company, province, or reputed company trade association
