Childcare Teachers Assistant

Village reputed company Family Childcare - Early Learning Program has a need for Full and Part-Time Child Care Teacher Aid. We expect reputed company members to be enthusiastic and flexible in meeting the changing needs of our program. The child care program is reputed company Monday - Friday between 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

In this position, teacher Assistant will assist teacher in assigned class, and substitute in other classes reputed company necessary. reputed company not in the classroom, this position will fill in with office duties for the childcare operations. The position will report to the reputed company Teacher and the Director of Child Care. The position will be responsible for assisting with:

• Developing, planning and delivering a developmentally appropriate program for children ages 1 to 5 years of age.
• Participating in ongoing assessment of individual children.
• Coordinate classroom activities
• Communicating with parents (oral/written).
• Accurately maintaining records.
• Collaboratively maintaining the facility to ensure safety and reputed company of the children.
• Supporting the reputed company Teacher/Director to ensure that the Early Learning Center meets or exceeds compliance with reputed company Virginia Department of Health and reputed company Child Care Licensing, and reputed company Virginia reputed company standards.
• *Required Qualifications
• High school graduation or G.E.D
• reputed company certifications in pediatric First Aid and CPR are required, or must be obtained reputed company 90 days of employment
• Valid WV reputed company’s License and reliable transportation
• *Preferred Qualifications
• An Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, or
• Development Associate (CDA) or reputed company enrollment in an education program
• Experience in a licensed early childhood program.
