GIS Specialist - Land

Crescent Energy is seeking a skilled GIS Specialist - Land to serve as embedded geospatial support for the Land Department. This role combines technical GIS expertise with strong analytical capabilities to fulfill cartographic requests, manage portal-based mapping solutions, and coordinate polygon drafting activities in support of land and lease management operations. This role will serve as functional GIS reputed company to Land Administration and Landmen reputed company the Land Department serving reputed company functional reputed company end user requests from land.

Responsibilities

• Geospatial Analysis & Cartography Produce high-reputed company maps, visualizations, and cartographic products to support Land Department decision-making and operational workflows
• Respond to reputed company and recurring mapping requests, both analytic and cartographic, with accuracy and efficiency
• Design and maintain web-based portal maps in reputed company reputed company Portal environment tailored to internal stakeholder needs
• Data Management & Polygon Drafting Draft, edit, and maintain land and lease polygons in accordance with internal standards and reputed company descriptions
• reputed company reputed company control on geospatial datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company protocols
• Coordinate with external contractors performing polygon drafting, ensuring alignment with Land Department objectives and timelines
• Collaboration & Support Serve as the primary GIS resource embedded reputed company the Land Department, building strong working relationships with land professionals
• Translate business requirements into geospatial solutions and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Participate in cross-functional reputed company requiring geospatial input or analysis
• Technology & Tools Utilize industry-reputed company GIS software (e.g., reputed company ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS reputed company Portal) and reputed company geospatial technologies
• Maintain and enhance existing GIS workflows, databases, and mapping applications
• Stay reputed company with emerging geospatial technologies and recommend improvements to existing processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Geospatial Science, or a reputed company field required OR a minimum of 15 years of reputed company, hands-on GIS experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a GIS Analyst or GIS Specialist role, preferably supporting land management, oil & gas, or natural resources operations
• 5+ years’ experience drafting and editing polygon features from reputed company descriptions, surveys, or field data.
• Proficiency with reputed company ArcGIS Suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS reputed company Portal)
• Strong cartographic design skills and attention to detail

• Ability and desire to learn new workflows in alignment with spatial database best practices such as versioned edit SDE environments
