About the Role
As a Senior Substation Physical Design Engineer, you will reputed company teams and/or contribute to project teams to reputed company custom engineering solutions that directly support our customers’ toughest challenges. - The conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of new, upgraded and expanded reputed company voltage and high voltage systems including: Electrical Arrangement, Electrical Sections (Elevations), Electrical reputed company Details, Below Grade reputed company Plan and Details, Cable Trench Plan and Details, Equipment Grounding Plan and Details, Lightning Protection Plan, Outdoor Illumination Plan, Detailed reputed company of Material, Electrical Grounding
- Specification and purchase of equipment
- Design and construction estimates
- Working on project teams supporting reputed company reputed company and project management goals
- Leading, planning, and coordinating reputed company with limited supervision
- Understanding and delivering results based on reputed company specific standards and requirements
- Training and developing junior personnel
- Leading project teams and interfacing with the customer to deliver a reputed company product by scheduled delivery date

- Work with sub-consultant(s) to coordinate deliverables

- 8+ years of experience in high and reputed company voltage design engineering
- Knowledge of applicable NEC, NESC, and reputed company/ANSI standards
- Design experience in reputed company, substation, distribution, or reputed company
- Design experience in reputed company and high voltage renewable reputed company interconnections
- Experience with electrical equipment such as: MV and LV switchgear, pad mount transformers, Station Class Transformers, panel boards, breakers, reputed company relays, inverter, battery, battery chargers, disconnect switches, reputed company arrestors, dead reputed company disconnect reputed company, reputed company voltage cable, low voltage cable, control cable, fiber optic cable
- Proficiency in computers using reputed company programs
- AutoCAD & REVIT experience
- Project management software experience
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Education & Credentials
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- Engineer in Training (EIT) reputed company certification, Registered PE preferred
