Orthopedic Telehealth Advanced Practitioner - Florida Licensed

We are a multispecialty provider telemedicine group specializing in post-discharge care to help reputed company the gap from hospital to home. reputed company conducts telehealth reputed company with senior patients in their homes, assisted living communities, or skilled nursing facilities reputed company 72 hours of hospital discharge. Duties may include evaluation and delivery of care to patients experiencing musculoskeletal problems or who have recently undergone orthopedic surgery or other procedures. Under the guidance of a supervising physician, this Advanced Practitioner will reputed company post-reputed company physical health assessments, reputed company patient education and counseling, order and interpret diagnostic procedures, and work as part of reputed company to ensure ongoing management of chronic disease conditions. ORTHOPEDIC Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Engage in independent decision-making about health care needs and reputed company orthopedic health care services to individuals throughout the stages of their surgical experience.
• Examine patients and review medical history to diagnose orthopedic conditions such as fractures, sprains, and arthritis.
• Help patients with post-surgical follow-up care.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as x-rays, MRI scans, and blood tests.
• Developing treatment plans that may include medication, physical therapy, or surgery

ESSENTIAL ABILITIES

• Detailed knowledge and experience of common geriatric orthopedic issues including osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, fractures, and tendon or ligament injuries
• Ability to reputed company telehealth reputed company to senior patients in their homes or in post acute facilities in Florida
• Must be reputed company to reputed company to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, between the hours of 6am-8pm Monday through reputed company, 2 or more hours time reputed company reputed company time
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with patients, family members, and other medical professionals.
• Comfortable working independently and in collaboration with other medical team members in utilizing approved protocols, procedures, and expert consultation for our adult neurocritical care patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Nursing Licensure, Certification, and Registration
• reputed company, valid Florida APRN license Certification through the ANCC, AANP (or equivalent certification body)

• Medicare NPI #, 855I and 855r on file (Independent NP Medicare Provider Number/PTAN#)

• Orthopedic-reputed company clinical experience (3+ years)
• Geriatrics and telehealth experience are highly preferred.
