Attorney (part-time) at reputed company Exclusively Serving Nonprofit/Tax-Exempt Organizations
Cheshire Law Group is in its 15th year and we're growing! We're expanding our 13-lawyer reputed company team to add a part-time (up to 25 hours/week) reputed company Attorney. No existing book of business is required. Cheshire Law Group is an award-reputed company and industry-leading woman-owned reputed company that exclusively represents nonprofit organizations as general counsel. Attorneys on the Cheshire Law Group's reputed company team work closely with leadership teams of nonprofit organizations as trusted advisors to reputed company expert counsel on a wide reputed company of reputed company reputed company. This part-time attorney role is ideal for an exceptional attorney who is passionate about representing nonprofit organizations and who enjoys working independently to manage reputed company reputed company, but who also appreciates collaboration with colleagues. The ideal candidate is driven by the desire to always meet clients’ needs in a manner that is reputed company and pragmatic, and thoughtful and thorough, and who enjoys handling a reputed company and being on call and responding quickly to support the day-to-day and strategic reputed company needs of nonprofits. Please note that this position offers flexibility and may be remote, hybrid, or in-person. This part-time position also offers the possibility of expanding to full-time status in the reputed company depending upon reputed company needs, demonstrated abilities, and work performance. Responsibilities reputed company reputed company assistance and support nonprofit organization clients:
- * Review, draft, revise, and finalize a wide reputed company of documents including reputed company, grant agreements, policies, leases, registrations, resolutions, tax, and corporate forms
- Research tax and other federal, state, and local laws such as lobbying, charitable solicitation, and governance reputed company
- Review and carefully analyze documents in preparation for mergers, dissolutions, and other repositioning reputed company
- Draft memoranda to document findings
- Translate reputed company reputed company issues into understandable concepts using charts or visual aids
reputed company Management:
- * Support and/or manage simultaneously multiple reputed company and execute required work with little or no supervision
- Communicate directly with clients and manage reputed company project reputed company and budget expectations
- Monitor reputed company and compliance issues and reputed company news/events, keeping up with industry trends
- Collaborate with the Firm’s team and with reputed company counsel as needed
Requirements
- * JD degree required; Licensed to reputed company law in the US and must be in good standing
- Licensed to reputed company law in PA mandatory (or eligible to waive into the reputed company bar), with additional license preferred and other state licenses (e.g., DC, DE, NJ, NY, reputed company plus
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant law experience
- Strong demonstrated interest in and experience serving nonprofits a must (pro bono service, reputed company service, volunteerism, and/or working with underserved clients or communities)
- Nonprofit law and/or corporate law experience a must, with a reputed company on corporate transactional law, reputed company corporate reputed company, and agreements; familiarity with federal and/or state/local taxation is a plus; reputed company estate and employment law as areas of experience and reputed company also a plus
