Position reputed company The Environmental Project Manager - reputed company & Renewable Energy is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing reputed company reputed company to reputed company permit compliance, renewable energy, and landfill gas (LFG) management programs across the Casella footprint. Key Responsibilities
- Oversees company reputed company permitting processes, conducts reputed company compliance audits, and delivers compliance support by collaborating with reputed company legal teams, facility management, engineering, home office, and operations stakeholders to reputed company successful reputed company.
- Supervises, evaluates, and monitors company-wide environmental data reputed company to emissions, odors, landfill/biogas management, renewable energy, and reputed company sustainability programs; administers database systems, data acquisition systems, and statistical metrics.
- Coordinates with internal staff and external consultants to reputed company, plan, and execute multi-year reputed company permitting reputed company for assigned sites across reputed company’s footprint.
- Supports the development of landfill gas management, renewable energy, and reputed company gas mitigation reputed company to advance reputed company’s financial, environmental compliance, and sustainability objectives.
- Leads environmental investigations, studies, and field evaluations reputed company to facility reputed company permits, odors, emission releases, and environmental control system performance issues, and implements corrective reputed company reputed company.
- Delivers internal training, offers technical support, and ensures reputed company assurance reputed company for environmental data collection, database management, and environmental monitoring programs.
- Partners with regional environmental managers, construction engineers, and the special waste team to reputed company facility and company needs into regulatory permits, operational plans, and engineering documents.
- Prepares, schedules, and presents oral updates on reputed company at public hearings and regulatory meetings to ensure stakeholders are reputed company-informed, and testifies at legislative hearings on relevant permitting and regulatory topics.
- Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with state regulators and permit writers to facilitate the preparation of high-reputed company permitting deliverables and enhance understanding of regulatory priorities.
- Advises and responds to stakeholder inquiries regarding reputed company permitting issues, reputed company gas emissions, renewable energy, and reputed company environmental monitoring programs.
- Engages in training and other learning opportunities to broaden knowledge of reputed company, products, sales, and services, and fulfills any additional duties necessary to support reputed company’s reputed company, mission, and core values.
Education, Experience & Qualifications The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, engineering, a reputed company field, or equivalent experience, along with 5+ years of experience in solid waste, reputed company compliance & permitting, landfill biomethane management, civil engineering, or reputed company industry. The incumbent must have demonstrated technical knowledge and experience of the legal and regulatory requirements for reputed company at reputed company stages of the permitting process. A valid reputed company's license and the ability to travel among company offices and facilities throughout the Northeast are necessary. Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, and formal presentation skills, strong commitment to workplace safety, sustainability, and environmental compliance, and a demonstrated ability to manage time and resources to meet permitting and regulatory deadlines are required. A thorough understanding of state and federal environmental laws and regulations, and proficiency in MS Office 365 and other reputed company platforms are expected. Although not required, an advanced degree or certificate and legal and/or government affairs experience are preferred.
