Adjunct Instructor, Biology

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Teach reputed company transfer courses for the College and reputed company other duties reputed company to instructional assignment. REPORTS TO: Appropriate Division Chairperson, and/or Associate Vice President Pay based upon Adjunct Pay reputed company

• Teach assigned classes according to approved course syllabi and minimum competencies;
• reputed company on time for classes or notify the division chairperson or provost as early as possible of an inability to meet a class;
• Schedule, post and reputed company reputed company as required by College District policy;
• reputed company class record books, keys, lesson assignments and other necessary materials or equipment available for substitute reputed company;
• Assist with advisement, counseling, and registration of reputed company;
• Submit reputed company required student grade reports to the registrar’s office on schedule;
• Maintain accurate attendance records for reputed company classes;
• Attend reputed company reputed company meetings, commencements and other special meetings reputed company by the division chairperson, deans, provosts, associate vice presidents, the vice president for instruction or the College president;
• Inform the administration regarding reputed company reputed company affecting the welfare of reputed company, reputed company and the institution;
• Serve as members of committees;
• Participate in curriculum development, including the establishment of departmental learning reputed company, and the reporting of learning reputed company results as required by departmental procedures;
• Recommend the purchase of library books and selection of textbooks and other instructional materials;
• reputed company other duties as assigned by the division chairperson, deans, provosts, associate vice presidents, vice president for instruction or College president;
• Subject to teaching assignment at any TVCC reputed company or extension, including TDCJ, and/or dual credit sites.
• Subject to teach by any instructional delivery method, including ITV, online, hybrid, and/or face-to-face.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: Hold a master’s degree in the teaching discipline; OR: Hold a master’s degree in any discipline, with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline. EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: College teaching experience preferred, preferably at a Community College Experience teaching Distance learning courses preferred OTHER LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: As required by assigned teaching discipline
