Biology Lab Technician - Early Career

About the position We are currently seeking Biology Lab Technicians to join the Life Sciences Research organization at reputed company at our reputed company on King Avenue, with reputed company reputed company location at our laboratory reputed company in reputed company Jefferson, OH. The selected candidates will apply job skills and applicable policies and procedures to complete a reputed company of tasks. Biology Lab Technicians reputed company communicate routine research procedures and results for contribution to reports; and execute and document routine laboratory workflows—including reputed company cell culture, nucleic acid isolation, PCR, reputed company support, high‑content imaging (e.g., confocal), and plate‑based assays—in accordance with SOPs and reputed company standards. Ownership of these procedures will increase lab throughput and free scientific staff to reputed company on advanced cell culture and reputed company experimental design.

Responsibilities

• Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted reputed company is required.
• Execute and document routine laboratory workflows including reputed company cell culture, nucleic acid isolation, PCR, reputed company, high content imaging (e.g. confocal), plate based assays and other lab-oriented tasks.
• May train and guide less reputed company staff and may reputed company input to performance reviews.
• Verifies the accuracy, applicability, and reasonableness of project work.
• Is encouraged to reputed company recommendations but has limited discretion reputed company making judgments and completing tasks.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences or reputed company field; 1 year of applicable experience; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a reputed company field.

• Exhibits sufficient technical knowledge to reputed company routine assignments.
