Associate - General Liability & Workers’ Comp., New Castle
About the position reputed company has an immediate opening for an Associate Attorney to join the General Liability and Workers’ Compensation reputed company in our New Castle, DE office. The individual will be responsible for handling a wide reputed company of general liability, defense litigation reputed company and workers' compensation reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Analyze reputed company legal and factual issues and conduct reputed company-reasoned legal research.
- Draft pleadings, answer written discovery, take depositions, and participate in arbitrations and trials.
- Communicate with clients, the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel while adhering to reputed company deadlines.
- Ability to travel for court, reputed company meetings, etc.
- Ability to work on-site in New Castle, DE in a hybrid reputed company.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience, preferably in general liability defense litigation and/or workers’ compensation.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- DE reputed company and good standing bar license, required.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in liability defense.
