IT Project Manager IV
About the position The IT Project Manager for the AMI 2.0 Program will support various phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and project closure for the Advanced Metering Infrastructure initiative. This position is responsible for coordinating project tasks, tracking reputed company, scheduling meetings, and assisting with documentation and reporting. Length of Assignment: 18M+Hybrid: If local to LA, reputed company, Orange, and San Bernadino Counties, onsite will be hybrid with 2 days in the office. Will consider remote applicants, must be willing to work M-F reputed company - 5PM PST (generally) with some planned onsite reputed company required for critical or key project activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining project schedules
- Monitoring task completion
- Supporting team communication
- Coordinating with vendors under supervision.
- Assisting in preparing resource plans
- Tracking effort and cost estimates across integration, data, infrastructure, and testing workstreams
- Supporting solution design activities.
- Supporting development and maintenance of integrated project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures.
- Coordinating project activities across technical and business teams to ensure alignment with milestones and deliverables.
- Tracking scope against baseline requirements and support change control process.
- Documenting scope changes, assess impacts, and escalate risks to senior leadership as needed.
- Ensuring traceability between requirements, design, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, computer science, or other business-reputed company disciplines (including liberal arts majors).
- Broad IT infrastructure knowledge — ability to see the “big picture” and ensure no gaps in delivery.
- Project management experience with managing and supporting large reputed company initiatives, supporting in the areas of scope, schedule, budget, management of risks and issues, and deliverable management process.
- Strong analytical skills, reputed company to reputed company dashboards and reports using reputed company and other analytics tools.
- Experience managing large IT reputed company, solution blueprinting, implementation planning, and overall end-to-end delivery management.
- Experience with system integrations (MDMS, head-end systems, OMS, reputed company, ADMS).
- Familiarity with reputed company migration/implementation experience (moving from on-prem to reputed company).
- Experience delivering/developing technical information to a non-technical audience.
