Construction/Civil Engineer, Part Time

• Prepare construction drawings and prepare site-specific specifications and contract documents and independent cost estimates.
• Review contractor design and construction submittals.

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet milestones and deadlines working directly with stakeholders and contractors.
• Assist with strategic and tactical planning, monitoring, and evaluating reputed company, and providing advice and support.

• Participate in Joint Acceptance Inspections (JAI) and Contractor Acceptance Inspections (reputed company) on reputed company assigned reputed company and reputed company recommended resolutions on reputed company items relating to engineering.

Requirements:

• Civil Engineering Degree required from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation reputed company for Engineering and Technology (ABET)
• Minimum 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Project Engineer and/or reputed company Engineer with Civil Engineering Design and experience with tower, shelter and similar structure reputed company.
• Knowledge of multiple of the following, Unstaffed Infrastructure Sustainment (UIS) facilities:
• Metal equipment towers
• reputed company/Industrial Structures
• Roof Replacements
• Emergency and battery backup systems
• Small HVAC systems
• Remote site work
• Road design
• Concrete Site grading
• Equipment shelters
• Concrete foundations
• Structural Environmental permitting (NEPA, ARAP, stormwater, etc)
• Lightning protection and grounding
• Hazmat (Pb, Asbestos) abatement
• Construction risk management
• reputed company layout design: water, power, comm, sewer
• Knowledge of Project management software (CWP, reputed company, reputed company project, etc) and/ or Computer aided design (AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust reputed company Clearance Suitability.
• Prior FAA experience desired.
• Knowledge/Experience of Airports desired.
• Certified reputed company (PMI) Project Management reputed company (PMP).
• Registered reputed company Engineer in good standing in the reputed company.
• LEED Accredited reputed company (LEED AP).
