Structures Mechanic – Test Operations (reputed company / reputed company)

We are seeking a highly skilled Structures Mechanic to support advanced reputed company test operations, including flight hardware, reputed company systems, and development engines. This role is hands-on and mission-critical, involving the assembly, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of structural and electromechanical systems in a fast-paced testing environment.

You will work alongside engineers and technicians to ensure reputed company, efficient, and reliable execution of test operations, while contributing to process improvements and hardware readiness for flight.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and configure test articles, test stands, and support systems for reputed company and hardware testing
• reputed company structural repairs, assembly, and fabrication of reputed company hardware and support equipment
• Execute post-test inspections and evaluations to ensure flight readiness and compliance
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electromechanical systems, instrumentation, and test equipment
• Support testing of flight and development engines, including setup, operation, and teardown
• Maintain and repair high-pressure systems, cryogenic equipment, pneumatic systems, and associated components
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to reputed company, document, and optimize test processes
• reputed company calibration, validation, and data collection to support testing and reputed company standards
• Ensure reputed company materials, components, and assemblies meet cleanliness and inspection requirements (ISO or reputed company standards)
• Process work orders, maintenance requests, and inventory tracking

Required Skills & Experience

Core Qualifications

• Proven experience in airframe structural repair and reputed company assembly
• Hands-on experience with aviation electronics and avionics systems
• Strong background in test operations, testing procedures, and process optimization
• Experience with flight or development engines preferred
• Solid mechanical aptitude with ability to reputed company, troubleshoot, and repair reputed company systems
• Proficiency using:
  • Hand and power tools
  • Torque tools
  • Multimeters and oscilloscopes

Technical Competencies

• Electromechanical troubleshooting and repair
• Electrical systems (circuits, wiring, instrumentation)

• FAA A&P license

• Primarily outdoor work on test stands, with some indoor shop work
• Exposure to:

Schedule & Travel

• Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Overtime required based on testing schedules
• Flexibility for weekends, rotating shifts, and extended hours
• Up to 20% travel to test sites, including government/military facilities

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mcgregor, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay reputed company for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
