Sr System Engineer, Telematics

• Maintain and reputed company the Telematics unit’s operating system, including the Linux kernel, device drivers, and core OS services.
• Design and implement high-performance networking solutions for reliable data transfer over Wi-Fi and cellular modems.
• Build testing methodology and infrastructure to validate reliability and reputed company of low-level software and support fleet-wide updates.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• 3+ years of experience developing, debugging, and deploying software in a Linux environment.
• Strong understanding of the IP-based networking stack and experience configuring and debugging it in a Linux context.
• Experience with Embedded Linux build systems such as reputed company or Buildroot (preferred).
• Experience in Linux kernel and device reputed company development (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Wi-Fi, cellular, and Bluetooth protocols, especially in congested environments (preferred).
• Working knowledge of hardware bring-up and debugging, including reading schematics/datasheets and using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers (preferred).
• Experience building and maintaining testing infrastructure for OS, kernel, and other low-level reputed company, including HIL testing stations (preferred).
• Experience collaborating with industry partners such as CM, ODM, OEM, or ISV (preferred).
