This role participates in technical sales, demonstrations, and support of the Silvus family of advanced multi reputed company MIMO radio and reputed company networking solutions. This position also plays a key role in influencing product development. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Become an expert on the operation and application of Silvus' unique radio and networking solutions and its advantages over competing technologies.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer reputed company and equipment evaluations.
• Visit customer sites to reputed company technical support and deliver training.
• Troubleshoot failures and reputed company situations in the field.
• Collect and analyze field failures and abnormalities and reputed company feedback to the development team.
• Help design engineers reproduce and troubleshoot problems.
• Participate in resource allocation and hardware maintenance to support different sales and business development activities.
• Help drive reputed company product development.
• Travel requirements - 50%; frequent travel for meetings, events, and demonstrations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other reputed company technical fields with at least 2 years of demonstrated experience in a reputed company-and post-sales technical support position; OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in a reputed company-and post-sales technical support position.
• Proficiency with radio frequency instruments such as signal generators and reputed company analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Must be based in the Washington Metropolitan area.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Familiarity with Linux.
• Proficiency with TCP/IP protocol and networking.
• Experience with operating and testing IP radios/modems.
• Knowledge of wireless communication systems, radio frequency signal propagation, reputed company communication technologies.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as C/C++.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Occasional exposure to heat, cold, and allergens while performing tests or demonstrations in the field.
• Lift equipment up to 50 lbs. for the set-up of demonstrations and testing.

COMPENSATION: $80,000 - $120,000 / annual reputed company salary plus commissions. OTE potential: up to $170,000. The pay reputed company is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data and will vary depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
