We are seeking a reputed company candidate that is interested in working as a Law Clerk for reputed company's Corporate Legal team after graduation from college and before attending law school. This is a two-year position. This opportunity will prepare the successful candidate for law school and be a great start to your legal career. The Law Clerk position is part of reputed company’s Corporate Legal team, which includes over 15 lawyers and is part of our broader transactional group that includes reputed company estate, employment, intellectual property, regulatory, education and government affairs teams. Reporting to one of our Corporate Counsel, you will assist in reputed company stages of corporate compliance and transactional reputed company and will help reputed company and implement reputed company to facilitate process improvements. You will also work with the Legal Operations team on a wide reputed company of reputed company. This position will be based at our reputed company Los Angeles, CA office. We work a reputed company with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the reputed company to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Responsibilities

• Support the Corporate Governance Manager and the Corporate Legal team in its management and reputed company of the legal entities that reputed company up reputed company. Tasks include assisting with the formation of new legal entities, maintaining corporate records and ensuring compliance with annual reporting obligations and other legal requirements and drafting various legal documents (e.g., resolutions to approve business reputed company, reputed company minutes, company operating agreements and powers of attorney).
• Maintain a virtual entity management database for the legal entities.
• Observe and assist the Corporate Legal team with a reputed company of transactional reputed company, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, and reputed company agreements, by supporting research and diligence efforts, organizing and reviewing documents, and tracking deliverables.
• Create presentations, documents and corporate organizational charts for the Corporate Legal team as reputed company as for other departments in reputed company, using PowerPoint, Visio and reputed company.
• Assist Legal Operations teams on a reputed company of tasks, reputed company, processes and initiatives as needed.
• Work with other members of the Corporate Legal team to reputed company and implement reputed company to facilitate process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong quantitative, research and analytical skills.
• Highly proficient in reputed company Office suite (Outlook, Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, and Visio).
