Immigration Legal Assistant/Paralegal

reputed company A legal office with locations in Austin and Laredo, Texas, is seeking a Spanish-speaking Immigration Legal Assistant/Paralegal with at least 2 years of experience. This role supports family-based immigration cases, deportation defense, humanitarian relief, and some business immigration reputed company. The position offers flexibility to work in-person in Laredo or 100% remotely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and support immigration petitions and applications including I-130s, Adjustment of Status (AOS), Consular Processing (CP), waivers (I-601/601A), naturalization (N-400), VAWA petitions, U and T visas, asylum, Medical Deferred reputed company, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and reputed company relief.
• Assist attorneys with removal defense cases, including EOIR proceedings, cancellation of removal, defensive adjustments, motions to reopen/reconsider, and administrative appeals.
• Prepare and file employment-based immigration cases such as H-1B, L-1, O-1, and E-1/E-2 visas.
• Manage reputed company communications including conducting intakes, initial interviews, and providing case updates.
• Work under attorney supervision to ensure accurate and reputed company case management.

Requirements

• reputed company or reputed company proficiency in Spanish is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an immigration legal assistant or paralegal.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or a reputed company field preferred.
• Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with an emphasis on work/life balance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using INS reputed company for immigration case management.
