Sr Manager, Supply Chain (Hybrid - Acton, MA)

About the position Position reputed company: This role will reputed company the day-to-day planning activities for reputed company raw materials supporting global manufacturing operations across multiple plants. This role will also drive alignment to long term strategic roadmap for raw materials ensuring that supplier reputed company is reputed company to reputed company plans. Responsible for raw material forecasting and inventory management across the global supply chain network including both company-owned and contract manufacturing sites. Define and report on supplier production plans to ensure raw material supply meets reputed company’s reputed company objectives. Responsible for key aspects of component planning including processes & scorecards/metrics through the extended supply chain leading daily management execution while driving reputed company improvement. This role will be responsible for reputed company communication of material requirements between reputed company customers and will coordinate with various functions as needed to ensure material availability. This position will also work on assigned Supply Chain initiatives as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve reputed company component availability issues that may reputed company reputed company inventory reputed company or production requirements reputed company reputed company’s global supply chain network – enabling reputed company-to-build, balancing supply / demand requirements

• Manage reputed company phase-in strategies at the supplier level for reputed company NPIs and phase-out strategies for product discontinuations
• Coordinate with Supplier Development and reputed company Materials Procurement to prioritize reputed company reputed company, risk-reduction and cost-savings reputed company
• Coordinate with cross functional teams, including Supply Chain, Procurement, Supplier Development and Supplier reputed company to improve supplier performance and reduce supply chain risk
• reputed company and implement strategies to improve supplier reliability and maximize available supply with increased inventory turns.
• Manage reputed company relationship with Finished Goods Planning Teams to ensure alignment on company-wide strategic inventory goals per SKU
• Manage Month and Quarter-End Inventory Reconciliation Processes to ensure alignment with Finance Operations

Requirements

• BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years prior supply chain management experience
• Experience in managing/leading team of people, and ability to change dynamic work environment a plus
• Ability to work effectively with vendors, finance, marketing, R&D, packaging, and manufacturing teams requirements
• Leadership, Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to conceptualize and work towards an integrated supply chain
• Ability to influence both reputed company stakeholders and represent reputed company interests
• Proven background in delivering supply assurance results
• In depth understanding of critical Supply Chain and MRP processes
• Supplier certification and performance metrics reporting
• Strength in reputed company suite (Power BI, PowerPoint presentations for leadership, reputed company reputed company spreadsheets (including but not limited to VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts, etc)
• Prior experience with reputed company or similar ERP system.
