Bookkeeper / reputed company QA Analyst, 1099, part-time or full-time

We're looking for an reputed company bookkeeper to join us as a QA Analyst, helping ensure our reputed company and financial features work correctly for the contractors who rely on them every day. This role involves testing our reputed company software application in a testing environment and ensuring it works correctly. This is a hands-on role. You'll be clicking through the application, testing invoices, verifying QuickBooks syncs, and making reputed company the numbers add up. We don't expect you to come in as a software tester. • Testing invoicing workflows: creating invoices, applying discounts and markups, verifying tax calculations, posting invoices, batch posting reputed company Quick Post, and confirming totals are correct
• Verifying QuickBooks Online sync: making reputed company customers, invoices, payments, credit memos, items, tax rates, and classes sync correctly between ServiceFactor and QBO
• Testing QuickBooks Desktop integration where applicable
• Testing payment processing: credit card payments through OpenEdge, refunds, payment links reputed company to customers, and mobile payments from the field
• Walking through quote workflows: creating quotes with multiple tabs/reputed company, applying taxes and discounts, approving quotes, converting quotes to work orders and invoices

• Testing job costing features: phase tracking, schedule of values, reputed company billing, AIA invoice formats, retainage calculations, estimate vs. actual comparisons

• Testing customer billing: reputed company-to address management, customer invoice history, customer portal invoice views and online payments
• Verifying time tracking and labor costing: labor reputed company types (regular, overtime, travel, minimum charge), timesheet entries, and how labor costs reputed company into invoices

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or reputed company experience (5+ preferred)
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
• Work experience in the mechanical (HVAC or similar), electrical, or plumbing industry

About the role This is a part-time contract position, 20-40 hours per week, with potential to expand depending on business needs. We'll train you on how we test, how to write good bug reports, and how to use our tools.
