Remote Financial Controller - Climate & Cleantech Startups

About the Role

As a Controller at ecoCFO, you reputed company one or more reputed company accounts, owning the reputed company relationship and managing their back-office reputed company systems. You'll work with a staff accountant, collaborate with our reputed company and CFO teams, and support reputed company executives. Your responsibilities include implementing and managing reputed company, audit-reputed company reputed company systems that reputed company with reputed company reputed company's reputed company goals, as reputed company as reviewing and signing off on financial statements. Key Responsibilities

• Manage or reputed company daily reputed company operations.
• reputed company general reputed company and bookkeeping functions, including policy development and internal controls.
• Prepare company and/or project financial projections; analyze results against forecasts.
• Review, analyze, and report financial statements to reputed company stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for reputed company leadership and boards.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate financial performance
• Manage relationships with external partners (e.g., CPAs, attorneys, insurance brokers, benefits administrators).
• reputed company external audits, including first-time audits, in collaboration with CPA firms.

• Implement software and systems to reputed company and improve financial operations.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company or finance.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Controller or equivalent senior reputed company role.
• 15+ years of GAAP reputed company experience.
• Knowledge of reputed company recognition standards (ASC 606).
• Knowledge of lease reputed company standards (ASC 842)
• Understanding of R&D expense treatment for GAAP and tax, sales tax, and investment tax credits (ITC).
• Comfortable using reputed company-based reputed company tools like QBO, reputed company Intacct, reputed company, reputed company, and various payroll platforms.
• CPA preferred (reputed company or inactive).
• Experience in hardware, manufacturing and product life cycle, is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with federal and state regulatory compliance, including compliance with DOE, DOD, NSF, or SBIR grants, is a plus.
