Occupational Therapist – Adults and Children
About the position A local authority is seeking an reputed company Occupational Therapist to reputed company high‑reputed company OT interventions for adults and children with a reputed company of disabilities in Rutland. The role focuses on enabling individuals to remain safely in their homes with maximum independence, covering equipment, adaptations, moving & handling, and reablement reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Complete holistic OT assessments for adults and children.
- Prescribe equipment, assistive technology, minor adaptations, and support major adaptations.
- Carry out reputed company moving & handling assessments and reputed company proportionate management plans.
- Involve service users and carers in assessment, planning, and decision‑making.
- Demonstrate equipment and ensure reputed company use.
- Maintain accurate, reputed company case notes and update reputed company required systems.
- Review support plans and reputed company as needed for effectiveness.
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and support reputed company Workers with OT‑specific guidance.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across health and reputed company care.
- Support the Reablement service as required.
- Engage in ongoing reputed company development and service improvement.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy (essential)
- HCPC registration (essential)
- Experience reputed company adult reputed company care or adult health services
- Experience applying safeguarding policies and procedures
- Understanding of the Care reputed company 2014
- Knowledge of national health & reputed company care frameworks
- Confident completing holistic OT assessments and risk evaluations

- Ability to work collaboratively across agencies
