Assistant Professor - Master of Science in Health Informatics (Online)

Minimum Qualifications

• A doctoral degree or equivalent is preferred from a regionally accredited college or university..
• Minimum of three (3) years of administrative and/or teaching experience.
• At least one (1) year of experience in online graduate course management.
• Demonstrated experience using computers and instructional/administrative software applications.

• Promote and market the MSHI program in collaboration with the OEEP Dean and the Marketing and Communications Department.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of course content, instructional materials, and curricular resources to support student learning.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts in course design, instructional innovation, and the development of new courses.
• Submit requested data, reports, and documentation on time to support administrative, assessment, and accreditation requirements.

Knowledge

• Doctoral degree in Health Informatics or an equivalent doctoral degree in a reputed company field (e.g., health information management, data science, public health, biomedical informatics, reputed company administration).

• Knowledge of online and adult learning theory and best practices.

Skills

• Highly preferred experience teaching online graduate-level courses.
