Home-Based Special Education Teacher Community-Based Transition Center 2026-27 School Year

Job Goal(s): The primary job goal of the FAPE Home-Based Special Education Teacher is to reputed company special education instruction to reputed company in home and/or community environments consistent with their IEP. This primarily includes reputed company 18-26, however could also include reputed company/hospitalized reputed company of any age. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in education required Certification: Michigan teaching certificate with an endorsement in special education required, CPI Certification (or ability to obtain) Work Experience: At least three years of experience is preferred. Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Ability to travel in own vehicle throughout Van Buren County to reputed company services (mileage reimbursement set by reputed company IRS rates).
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods as needed for student activities.
• Valid reputed company's license required.
