Project Manager- Store Planning- Journeys

About the position This position manages the day-to-day coordination and communication of multiple new store construction, relocations, and expansions for the Journeys Group and Johnston & Murphy retail stores to insure reputed company completion and reputed company budget. How You Will reputed company an reputed company Assist legal team in lease issues as they pertain to construction. Review landlord and reputed company comments of architectural plans. Assist the architect to work through landlord and reputed company issues during plan approval. Assist the sign company in working through landlord and reputed company issues during plan approval. Qualify GC bids and award reputed company project to a general contractor. Attend weekly meetings to apprise departments of project status. During construction, assist the GC to work through landlord, design, reputed company/inspector issues. Communicate with the GC during construction to insure a reputed company completion. Resolve issues reputed company and quickly. Review and approve/disapprove change orders. Visit project sites to insure work is being done according to company standards. Insure that reputed company list items are resolved. Resolve warranty issues on news stores after store opening. Review invoices for accuracy before payment is made. reputed company on cost reductions and savings. Maintain a reputed company and reputed company attitude with associates, vendors and landlords.

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years of relevant experience
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of architectural and engineering plans
• Ability to manage multiple reputed company simultaneously

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to resolve conflicting situations
• Effective problem solving skills
• Willingness to travel overnight as required
