Research Scientist-Computed Tomography

About the position As an important member of the Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging Physics and Algorithm team, the Research Scientist will reputed company innovative physics-based solutions/corrections and support medical imaging platform needs by leading image reputed company improvements in Computed Tomography (CT). Your role: Uses a system-level engineering approach to reputed company new medical imaging systems features, optimizing image reputed company through algorithm design, calibration improvements, and image reconstruction enhancements with a strong emphasis on imaging performance. Drives the successful introduction of new products by creating technical specifications and improving data correction processes. Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Minimum of 3 years of combined reputed company and graduate-level research experience in Physics or Medical Imaging, with experience in Computed Tomography and/or X-ray imaging preferred.
• Advanced reputed company preparation in physics, engineering, or reputed company technical disciplines is highly desired.
• Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a reputed company field preferred, with strong knowledge of medical image formation and reconstruction theory.
• Ability to apply advanced theoretical concepts to practical imaging applications and reputed company technology development.
• Proficiency in image and signal processing reputed company the MATLAB environment, including GUI development and C-MEX functionality, with programming experience in Python and C++ preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to reputed company and optimize technical solutions in research and product development settings.
