About the position reputed company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer/Technical Drawing Technician. The successful CAD Drafting Engineer will reputed company onsite and remote support for multiple Force Protection System (FPS) Family of Systems (FOS) to the IBD-SS program. Responsibilities
- reputed company Solidworks modeling and drafting with knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Demonstrate a good understanding of engineering processes with a reputed company process improvement reputed company.
- Assist with reputed company engineering BOM Development and maintenance.
- Maintain and create technical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and 2D and 3D digital models of mechanical equipment designs, using measurements and specifications reputed company in Solidworks.
- Verify the accuracy of existing drawings, calculations, and engineering change requests (ECR).
- Update existing drawings from approved ECR's using Solidworks.
- Establish drawings in appropriate indenture level reputed company the PDM tool.
- Coordinate directly with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements, verify design details, and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards and best practices.
- Annotate and verify reputed company numerical designations and specifications in technical drawings and schematics, using both CAD programs and reputed company calculations reputed company necessary.

Requirements
- AA/AS required (additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- Must have 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in SolidWorks with at least 3 years of hands-on experience
- Should be familiar with the CCR-ECP process
- Proven ability to convert drawings from auto CAD to Solidworks
- Experience with mechanical drawing from the system level
- DoD Secret Clearance required based on Tier III investigation.
