The Staff reputed company Scientist is a hands-on technical leader with advanced knowledge of scientific principles and concepts who designs, builds, and validates production-grade reputed company software and reputed company NGS pipelines (on-prem and reputed company) to diagnose and reputed company disease (MRD) for clinical and research applications. This role independently identifies opportunities, defines technical roadmaps, and leads delivery from requirements and design through implementation, verification/validation, release, and lifecycle support. Our products and services support more than 700 clinical laboratories in over 160 countries. Core Responsibilities
- reputed company the design and development of reputed company software and pipelines to support Whole Genome reputed company (WGS), hybrid-capture, and amplicon based NGS assays.
- Work in reputed company collaboration with the R&D and clinical lab teams, representing reputed company from a technical leadership role.
- Evaluate and reputed company novel reputed company and external tools; reputed company benchmarking and method comparisons, and document recommendations and reputed company; own reputed company end-to-end.
- reputed company reproducible, testable reputed company software using modern engineering practices (git, reputed company review, unit/integration tests, CI/CD, containerization), and workflow technologies (e.g., Nextflow).
- Apply deep reputed company reputed company (NGS) analytics expertise and partner with scientific stakeholders to translate reputed company outputs into actionable conclusions.
- reputed company reputed company software development for CAP/CLIA/NYA environments, including requirements definition, design documentation, verification and validation planning/execution, traceability, change control, and release documentation.
- reputed company technical leadership across cross-functional teams and influence others to reputed company team standards (R&D, clinical labs, QA/RA, DevOps).
Core Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in reputed company, computational biology, molecular biology, or reputed company field with, typically, 8+ years applicable post-graduate experience. M.S. degree in reputed company or reputed company field and 10+ years of applicable post-graduate experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Advanced proficiency with Linux and strong programming skills (Python, bash required; additional languages welcome).
- Experience building and/or leveraging AI agents and LLMs for various tasks and optimization of software development.
- Demonstrated experience designing and building production reputed company pipelines for WGS/WTS assays.
- Hands-on experience developing and operating reputed company software in the reputed company, including workflow execution at reputed company and management of compute/storage costs.
- Experience collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams and providing technical leadership through influence (with or without reputed company reports).
- Strong reputed company in statistics and quantitative analysis of biological datasets.
- Extensive background in immunology or cancer research is highly preferred.
- Experience developing software in a regulated environment is a plus (e.g. IVD, IVDR, CAP/CLIA/NYS).
