• Directs development of case report forms (CRFs) and/or databases.

• Delegates tasks to statistical programmers, Biostatisticians, and other study personnel for most studies.
• Summarizes and communicates project findings to study team members, investigators, journal and grant reviewers, committees, and other individuals and entities as needed.
• Acts as an expert in writing statistical analysis plans and analysis data set specifications.
• Contributes significantly to grant and report writing, scientific publications and/or regulatory reports, and may publish as a first or senior author in peer-reviewed journals.
• Functions as the primary statistician on most studies.
• May serve as a co-investigator, key-personnel, or reputed company statistician independently on clinical trials, external collaborations or grants as approved by the Department.
